Our worship services are inspiring.

Holy Communion is celebrated weekly in the Sunday morning worship service, and other holy days. All are welcome at the Lords Table. We offer grape juice or wine as well as gluten-free or wheat wafer.

Our music is outstanding and uplifting, with an array of visiting artists, and under the direction of our resident Ministers of Music:

Christine Djalleta, Cantor

Jim Holton, Piano, Cello

Cindy LeBlanc, Flute

The St Johns Players often lend a hand with the sermon.

Get dressed up or come casual. Be at ease.

Will you be welcome? Yes, you will. See our welcome statement here.

Every third Sunday of the month is Jazz & Gospel Sunday, featuring world class artists whose music is tuned to the service of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of worship. Tyrone Brown legendary string bassist is here every third Sunday, along with Hideo Morris, vibraphone, and Paul Deck, drums. Visiting artists join them and make beautiful, holy music together.

Stay with us for coffee hour and informal fellowship following the Sunday morning worship service. Great cooks, good food. Sunday Forum follows. Refill your coffee cup and get a piece of cake and join the discussion.

At Sunday Forum, you might have an encounter with the prophet Isaiah, learn about personal financial management in a Thrivent workshop, enjoy a chefs cooking demonstration for healthy eating a la chapter one of Daniel, embark on a Grail Quest, see an art show to anchor meditation for the holy season, or maybe walk a map of Jesus travels.

Every first Sunday of the month features our Jazz Vespers service at 7:00 pm. Best jazz anywhere. Peanut butter & jelly are collected at Jazz Vespers. Bring a jar or two to help stock local food cupboards and feed hungry locals including children.

Contributions of food may be brought to church anytime. On the second Sunday of each month the food baskets are brought forward to the altar before delivery to local food distribution centers.
